Artisan Christian Church

Artisan is a church that desires to equip people to have a vibrant and authentic relationship with God. Artisan takes its roots from the early church found in the book of Acts, in the sense that we believe church should be simple, relational, and empowering. At the same time, Artisan aims to employ contemporary methods to reach today’s culture.

Bringing Love, Hope, and Life to San Diego

Artisan is also focused on reaching out to people who don’t yet have a relationship with God. We believe that the love, hope, and life of Christ are irresistible and that we, His church, are the ones to demonstrate a genuine love for others in tangible ways.

What’s in a Name?

An “Artisan” is a skilled craftsman who makes masterpieces by hand. Our church name, Artisan, is based on the concept that we are all a work of God’s hands and we have been created for a purpose. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” This is a wonderful picture of how we have been uniquely created on purpose, for a purpose.
